Description

BAY-1082439 (CAS 1375469-38-7) is a selective DNA-dependent protein kinase (DNA-PK) inhibitor with molecular formula C₂₅H₃₀N₆O₅ and MW 494.50 g/mol. It is also known as M3814 and nedisertib.

BAY-1082439 is reported to act as a potent, selective inhibitor of DNA-PK, a serine/threonine kinase central to the non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) pathway of DNA double-strand break repair. By competitively occupying the ATP-binding site of DNA-PK, the compound is reported to impair NHEJ-mediated repair, thereby sensitizing cells to DNA-damaging insults such as ionizing radiation and certain genotoxic agents.

  • DNA-PK target engagement and NHEJ pathway studies
  • Radiosensitization and DNA damage response research
  • Structure-activity relationship studies within the imidazo[1,2-c]quinazoline chemotype
  • Chemical biology probe for DNA repair pathway profiling
