Description
AZD-0156 (CAS 1821428-35-6) is a potent, selective inhibitor of ataxia telangiectasia mutated (ATM) kinase, a member of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-related kinase (PIKK) family. Its molecular formula is C₂₆H₃₁N₅O₃ with a molecular weight of 461.60 g/mol. It is also known as ATM Kinase Inhibitor AZD0156.
AZD-0156 is reported to inhibit ATM kinase with high potency, suppressing ATM-dependent phosphorylation of downstream substrates such as KAP1 and CHK2 involved in the DNA damage response (DDR). By blocking ATM-mediated signaling, it impairs the G1/S and intra-S checkpoint activation triggered by double-strand DNA breaks.
